Choosing "Escaping Paradise"

When I looked through a couple of bookcases in the library, my eyes caught in one fantasy, colorful book's cover called "Escaping Paradise" which was written by Warren Flynn. I grabbed and looked at the front and back over and over again, then I thought why the title and story of the book totally don't match to each other. Escaping Paradise makes me feel relaxing like birds are flying above the ocean, but the story is totally different. It's about the girl named Nicki spending her holiday in Bali. Her vacation turns into a nightmare that she is kidnapped by freedom fighters and held to a ransom. After, I read a couple of pages, I realized that this book is going to be so much fun and I can hardly put it down. Its genre is also my most favorite and these colorful pictures of the cover make my imagination of the story go further. I'm feeling like I'm in that situation where I'm hanging around with those freedom fighters. Lastly, I think this book makes lots of pictures in my imagination and those become more real to me as a reader, so I chose "Escaping Paradise" for my independent reading activity.
